“Howliday Hijinks”

Three daring dogs from old Kentucky,
On Thanksgiving day, deemed themselves lucky.
They crashed the game, with a turkey in their fame,
Running amidst the cheers, oh how plucky!

With the ball lost and the turkey aloof,
The spectators’ reactions were proof –
This trio’s play had created dismay,
Adding extra zest to the festive spoof.

In the end, the dogs’ daring did please,
Their antics brought folks to their knees.
So, we raise a toast, to the canine host,
Of the best Thanksgiving game in the trees.
